The Eight Rules of Creation

"The New World shall have the Space Rule."

The Space Rule came into being out of thin air. From then on, the concept of worlds existed, along with length, width, and height. Tai Chu's body could also be described in units.

"This world is too empty."

With a single thought from Tai Chu, countless singularities exploded and expanded, forming the rudiments of worlds. Gas clouds, stars, planets, and other observable celestial bodies were born.

World Barriers appeared, clearly dividing one nascent world from another.

The Void appeared, completely separating the worlds.

Tai Chu stamped the ground beneath his feet. Of all the worlds born, the one beneath him was the largest.

"All things move; they must be measured by time."

The Time Rule appeared.

Above all worlds, the Time River appeared, flowing forth with babbling streams that represented time. The streams flowed toward the future, signifying that time would exist eternally, never cease, and could not be reversed.

"The development of things is never set in stone. Uncertainty is where the vitality of the world lies. The New World shall possess infinite possibilities."

The Possibility Rule was born.

At the beginning of the world's birth, silence was eternal. Only Tai Chu's voice resounded through heaven and earth. His will was omnipotent, and the rules that formed the foundation of the world appeared one after another.

"There must be possibilities for later generations to make their mark. Those of later generations may convert energy into mass, and mass into energy. They shall transform into one another, endlessly renewing themselves."

The Mass-Energy Conversion Rule appeared.

"With life comes death. Birth and destruction are the keynote of the world. If one lives forever without dying, the mind will eventually rot and become like those people of the Old World—stubborn as a rock, deaf
