Carlos followed Jiang Yan Hai, and more importantly, he carried an ammunition case containing Jiang Yan Hai's magazines and all kinds of special rounds.
However, there were not many Barrett-specific rounds—only around 300. In reality, that was already more than enough for a sniper.
