The entire base was developing at an astonishing pace. After leaving it, Jiang Yan Hai saw that the surrounding area outside had already been covered with countless factory buildings. What had originally been open land stretching some six or seven kilometers between the village and the city, farmland cultivated by the villagers, had now changed completely.
Yet at this moment, all that farmland had been occupied. Construction planning and other developments had already connected this area with the outskirts of the distant city.
However, there definitely would not be any civilians in these areas. They were all occupied by the Republic of Goa military and would certainly be planned out in the future. In fact, much of the planning had already been carried out in advance, including roads and railways. At present, though, the railways existed only in the plans.
Road construction, on the other hand, had already begun in full. They had not used the original roads. In truth, there had originally been only one highway here; the other roads were merely dirt paths formed by vehicles repeatedly rolling over them for years. It did not matter whether those roads existed or not.
The road network would certainly need to be redesigned, and the future direction of the city's development would also require new planning.
Jiang Yan Hai felt rather moved. This was only possible abroad. If it had been back home, there would probably have been even more buildings here. Never underestimate the power of the infrastructure maniacs!
To outsiders, this place would clearly become a factory district and military base. After leaving, Jiang Yan Hai kept a low profile and took a car to the military base near the city, which was likewise being expanded.
A military aircraft from home would pick Jiang Yan Hai up there.
