There was a reason city walls that had shone in ancient times and the Cold Weapon Era had been phased out in the modern age. Moreover, these walls had not been built recently; they were destined to be nowhere near as sturdy as modern reinforced concrete.
In truth, these several-meter-thick walls were no different from ancient city walls in terms of construction. At most, rudimentary cement had been available when they were built, making them appear quite solid.
