"Anyway, no matter what happens, I won't need to worry about the follow-up anymore." Jiang Yan Hai smiled and kissed Li Ruo Bai on the forehead.
"Hehe, all right." Li Ruo Bai chuckled twice, leaned against Jiang Yan Hai, and said nothing more.
After a long while, Li Ruo Bai suddenly asked, "Brother Hai, don't you think this world is changing too fast? Now we even have worlds like Great Qin."
"Actually, there hasn't been any major change. We've simply kept progressing." Jiang Yan Hai smiled.
"Yeah. I wonder what the world will become by the time our children grow up." Li Ruo Bai said wistfully.
"I don't know. But I think that by then, our country might become the strongest one." Jiang Yan Hai considered it. He could not say for certain, but there was far too much in the Red Star Engine under his general-level authorization that was worth bringing out.
The advances in materials science brought by these different worlds meant that their technology would advance even further. Hadn't domestic research into aircraft carriers already begun gradually slowing down?
Slowing down did not mean they would stop building them. Rather, as more new weapons and equipment entered service, aircraft carriers would no longer play such a major role. Their strategic power came from their ability to provide a massive platform at sea for fighter jets to take off from. But if new materials and new power systems could transform fighter jets into space fighters, then aircraft carriers would naturally become far less necessary.
Of course, that did not mean they would become completely unnecessary. They could be turned into regular rescue platforms for the Coast Guard or something similar. That would work too.
"That would be for the best." Li Ruo Bai smiled, hugged Jiang Yan Hai,
