Jiang Yan Hai smiled. "This alliance will require all of us to work together. The system licensing fee will be one yuan per device. However, for the app store established around this system, similar to iOS, I hope to hold a certain share."
"That can be discussed, but we'll leave those matters to the professionals." Huawei's CEO nodded readily.
Jiang Yan Hai did not dwell on it. Professionals would handle those matters, but everyone present understood that an app store's success was not guaranteed simply because it could support apps from other systems. If that were all it took, why would people abandon their original app store to use yours?
To succeed, it had to offer apps unavailable in other stores, and they had to be premium apps. Ideally, they would be irreplaceable. Only then could they draw more users to the store and the system.
That was also Apple's path to success. Otherwise, if it merely matched everyone else, at best it would only have the basic conditions needed to remain competitive.
"Alright. Now, let me introduce several premium programs we've prepared for this app store." Jiang Yan Hai smiled.
"The first program is one you have already seen: the Nuwa personal system. You could call it a personal assistant."
Nuwa itself could have been built directly into the system, and that was how it had been presented to the major manufacturers. The reason they called it a download and packaged it as a standalone app was, bluntly speaking, to enhance the app store's competitiveness.
They absolutely could not underestimate the Nuwa System's competitive power. Put simply, such a powerful personal assistant held unprecedented appeal for mobile phone users. If they were willing to grant it sufficient permissions, it could even operate many functions on their phones that they
