Compared with the outdated furnishings inside the rooms, the two-story buildings, the town roads, the layout, the utility poles, and other details made it obvious at a glance that these had been built using the most advanced modern construction methods.
So the question was, why were the interiors of these mass-produced residential units, built with the most advanced modern methods, so outdated?

Just then, a middle-aged man in his forties came out of the two-story courtyard next to Scorpion's. Smiling, he asked, "Hey, brother. Hello. Are you new here?"

"What's your name, brother?" The middle-aged man walked over with a smile and held out his hand.
Scorpion shook his hand. The middle-aged man's palm was covered in calluses, but the moment they clasped hands, Scorpion knew they were the calluses of someone who had worked manual labor for years, not those developed from handling guns.
"My name is Wen Xiong," Scorpion
