"It was what I wanted." Jiang Yan Hai stood up. He did not specify which one, merely nodded decisively.
"As long as it was what you wanted. Did anything happen here after I left?" the Prophet immediately asked.
Jiang Yan Hai had already made up his mind. He did not want to deceive him, but he could not reveal the whole truth at this point either. So he said directly, "That Mechanical Octopus came by, but it only showed itself near the shore before leaving immediately. I don't know whether one of its sensors detected me."
"I had been prepared to attack, but it moved very quickly, and it did not seem like it had noticed me, so I didn't attack."
The Prophet fell silent for a moment before speaking. "Maybe it detected some anomaly, though we can't be sure. Were you hiding on top of the cliff?"
"Yes." Jiang Yan Hai nodded.
"Then it couldn't have discovered you. We've tested it. Although those Mechanical Octopuses have sensors, their detection range isn't very large. From such a distance, it would have had no way of finding you, especially with rocks in between." The Prophet immediately shook his head.
"Something else may have occurred and caused it to make a new choice. Has anything major happened in the world recently?" the Prophet asked, glancing at Jiang Yan Hai.
"No." Jiang Yan Hai answered bluntly. "Right now, the war between Sand Bear and Mipu has taken over the world's major headlines. The other countries have remained calm, and Red Star has begun using its influence. Red Star has publicly declared absolute neutrality and expressed its hope that Sand Bear and Mipu would both exercise restraint and not expand the scale of the war."
"And it has strictly prohibited any other country from
