The various governments' guesses were not wrong. The output of these batteries was already quite impressive, but there was naturally a reason they had yet to be widely adopted by the public. A considerable number of the batteries had been stockpiled as power reserves for the first lunar base.
After all, the base vehicles, mining trucks, and other vehicles used on the moon in the future would definitely all be electrically powered. They could not use fuel, nor could they use Nuclear Power.
At least for now, nuclear reactors could not be made that small. Besides, fully electric-propelled submarines, warships, and the like were also under development. However, what no one had expected was that there was another reason these batteries had not yet been released to the market.
More factories were being built, and those factories used an entirely new technology. It was one of the technologies included with the basic Stargate. One material in the basic Stargate had to be decomposed from special materials in a special environment, then recombined into a new material.
The process sounded simple, but its requirements were extremely demanding. This material simply could not be produced under ordinary conditions. All one could say was that the world contained all manner of strange materials. There was nothing particularly remarkable about the technology itself.
But while researching it, Jiang Yan Hai suddenly had a flash of inspiration. He discovered that if this decomposition technology were applied to one of the materials humanity currently used, it could have a surprisingly wonderful effect.
If people were asked to choose the material most widely used by humanity, most would probably name familiar things such as metal. But metal was too broad a category. What most people did not know was that the most widely used material was something
