"Uh, you should rest first. I've already had someone prepare your accommodations," Zheng Bei said, choking on his words.
"No need. Time is tight. I can start now," Jiang Yan Hai said expressionlessly.
Two months was Jiang Yan Hai's conservative estimate. Come on, with the way he trained by dying ten times a day, if he spent two months training here, he would feel like he had let the Red Star Engine down.
He was fortunate he had not voiced what he had truly been thinking back then. If he had, Song Fei might well have flown into a rage and kicked him out on the spot.
Zheng Bei and Song Fei simply stopped talking. This was in line with what they had expected. They admitted this young man was rather impressive, but they refused to believe that merely watching from the co-pilot's seat meant he could actually fly.
If flying were that simple, would it have taken them two years to produce this batch? Back then, the higher-ups had said that training a batch of versatile Army Aviation pilots within two years would already count as a victory!
That meant training such a group of pilots used to require even longer—often around four years!
Wasn't it just getting into a simulator? Even if the simulator crashed, it was not a real crash. No big deal. It would be good to take some of the swagger out of this kid.
The three of them headed straight for the simulation training base. The simulators were naturally not located here, but in a dedicated building. Two of the simulators inside were reserved for their experimental class.
Zheng Bei and Song Fei were respectively the first and second commanding officers, so there was naturally no issue with a trainee using the simulators. They
