Thank you all for your support. To be honest, this is my first time writing a novel, so I wasn't very confident. I'd even considered the possibility that no one would read it for ten days or half a month after I posted it. But things have turned out better than I expected, so thank you all for your support. I've read every comment you've posted, but I can't reply to them. I also asked Qidian about this, and they said there was nothing wrong with the comment section, so the problem might be on my end. I can't fix it for the time being. You can leave comments and I can see them, but I can't respond, so I'm opening a separate chapter to briefly talk about some of my ideas.
I really enjoy playing Mount & Blade, and after reading novels for so many years, I wanted to try writing one myself, so I chose this subject matter. My idea definitely isn't to make it one of those invincible-system stories, nor do I plan to add too much fantasy. The system will merely provide the protagonist with some conveniences. First of all, the troop types definitely won't be invincible. After they level up, only their template attributes will improve; they'll still need training to gradually reach their limits, and weapons and equipment will also have to be bought from the system. Then there's the matter of supplies: the system provides supplies by constructing facilities. Those facilities will be staffed with some NPCs, though not too many—like the steward of an estate, except the steward is provided in advance. The supplies within the facilities must all be purchased with money, though they can also process raw materials. So this novel may have a relatively slow pace and lean more toward a farming-and-development story. I'm also a newcomer with little writing experience, but I'll keep writing it bit by bit. If you have any suggestions, feel free to leave them in the comments. I'll listen to everyone's opinions so we can improve together. Please continue to support me.
