When Shui Bing'er opened the door and saw the Vice Dean and Long Jie, she froze for a moment. Confused, she asked, "What is it, Vice Dean? At this late hour... is something wrong?"

The Vice Dean smiled kindly, pulled over the visibly awkward Long Jie, and said, "Bing'er, I really feel a little bad disturbing you so late. Isn't it that your captain has nowhere to stay? I remember you have two beds here, so... he'll sleep here tonight!"

"What?" Shui Bing'er was greatly shocked, and her face visibly reddened. "Vice Dean... that wouldn't be appropriate, would it...?"

Inside that small room, a man and a woman sat facing each other, neither knowing what to say.

Shui Bing'er lowered her head, feeling uncomfortable all over. It was the first time she had let a man into her room, and this man was going to stay here from now on?

Just thinking about it felt terrifying.

Long Jie felt somewhat uncomfortable as well. Looking at the pure white room, he did not know what to say for a moment.

Fortunately, Shui Bing'er's room really did have two beds. Otherwise, he would not have known what to do with himself.

"Um... I'll sleep here tonight?" Long Jie pointed at the bed beneath him and spoke.

There were two beds in her room. One was the bed she normally slept in—the very one Long Jie had just chosen—while the other was for when Shui Yue'er occasionally came to sleep over.

She had never expected it to become the Vice Dean's excuse for arranging Long Jie's stay.

"Then I'll go take a shower first!" Feeling quite awkward, Long Jie hurried toward the bathroom. Shui Bing'er blanked for a second before realizing what was happening. Just as she was about to stop him, Long Jie had already entered the bathroom.

There were clothes she had changed out of in the shower room...

Shui Bing'er's face flushed red. For a moment, she did not know what to do. The Vice Dean's outrageous maneuver had left her completely at a loss.

Helplessly, she took out a quilt, lay on her side on the bed, and pretended to be asleep.

Yet the sound of water coming from the bathroom still made her feel uneasy.

It was like a stranger had suddenly entered a world that had once belonged only to you, while you had no way to drive them away.

Shui Bing'er lay quietly on the bed, her thoughts in utter turmoil.

Before long, Long Jie came out of the bathroom. To avoid making Shui Bing'er dislike him, he had put on his clothes early, then simply used Soul Power to dry his hair, trying his best not to make any noise.

By the time he finished and came out, Shui Bing'er was already lying on her bed.

Long Jie could not help but breathe a sigh of relief. He quickly returned to his own bed and lay down, hoping tonight would be a quiet night.

The moon climbed from halfway up the mountain to the middle of the sky, then descended again. By the time the sun rose, neither of them had fallen asleep.

They got up from their beds at the same time as though by mutual understanding. When they looked at each other, they both saw the dark circles beneath the other's eyes and froze.

"You didn't sleep well last night?"

Feeling a little guilty, Long Jie hurriedly said, "I'll go find the Vice Dean later and have her arrange another place for me!"

"It's... it's fine. It's actually nothing!" Shui Bing'er said against her true feelings, only to regret it as soon as the words left her mouth. She clearly cared a great deal.

Long Jie understood what she was thinking. He smiled at her and said, "Don't worry, I'll handle it!"

Shui Bing'er nodded. After quickly washing up, the two left the room.

When they appeared in the dining hall together, the other six members of the Tianshui Battle Team were already seated there.

This was the Tianshui Battle Team's private dining hall. No one else had the right to enter.

Seeing Long Jie and Shui Bing'er come in together, the girls exchanged looks and suddenly laughed. "Oh? Isn't this our captain and Bing'er Jie? Why did you come together?"

"Don't tell me you slept together last night?"

As they spoke, the girls burst out laughing themselves, finding the idea rather amusing.

But a trace of awkwardness appeared on Long Jie and Shui Bing'er's faces.

"Captain, your dance training method really works!" Shui Yue'er said excitedly. "I went back and cultivated a little yesterday, and I found that my cultivation speed had become much faster!"

After the girls finished breakfast, they trained for a little while longer. Their attitudes were now extremely serious, and they quickly became familiar with the JK Hot Dance. Put simply, they had learned all the movements and it was now watchable.

Long Jie nodded in satisfaction and looked at the girls. "Very good. Since you've all learned these things, put on your brand-new equipment and set off with me!"

"Equipment? What equipment? Where are we going?"

Under the girls' puzzled gazes, Long Jie took out an essential item for JK outfits.
