Zennas accepted Joshua's order to head to Aleslota and investigate.
He temporarily entrusted the little girl he had adopted to Joshua's care, then boarded a Sea Race ship bound for Aleslota's coastline.
After living in the human world for so long, Zennas had learned humanity's sentimental side. As he boarded the Sea Race ship, he actually felt the tragic solemnity of bidding farewell to a child at home before heading to the battlefield.
But that sense of solemnity was soon replaced by a dangerous instinct.
The Sea Race ship docked at a ruined port in Aleslota.
This port town had clearly been left untended for many years. The surrounding area bore marks of tidal erosion, and even the ground along the harbor's edge had been colonized by creatures like sea snails and barnacles.

Joshua had sent him to explore Aleslota for two reasons. The first was to confirm whether the area around the harbor was safe. The second was to construct a Teleportation Portal connecting Behemoth to the harbor.
Zennas jumped off the ship alone and landed on the harbor ground covered in barnacles.
Eerie green Sin Fire spread out from Zennas. The parasitic creatures clinging to the ground were instantly burned into residue and vanished.
Just as Zennas finished releasing his Sin Fire and prepared to head deeper into the harbor, the ears on his forehead twitched. He had caught the sound of strange moaning.
The moans came from the harbor buildings. A deformed human or mermaid smashed through a
