Joshua spent less than ten minutes using Steve and an Efficiency V Diamond Pickaxe and Diamond Shovel to dig all the way underground.
According to the distance White Bird had measured, Steve's current location was exactly as far beneath Nolan as the Dwarf city underground was from Nolan's surface.
"Will the dirt we dig up automatically turn into blocks?"
As he operated it, Joshua gradually understood why constructing a Minecraft domain consumed so much Faith Power.
All the dirt and stone Steve dug away turned into pixelated blocks.
Once the Minecraft domain disappeared, those changes would revert to normal. As for whether the bugs, microorganisms, and such within the dirt would recover, there was no way of knowing.
Steve had dug a tunnel nearly several hundred meters deep, yet there was no need to worry about oxygen.
"You can bring your characters down now. I put a bucket of water at the bottom."
Joshua had not placed Wooden Ladders in the vertical passage. Instead, he dug one more block down at the very bottom and poured a large amount of water into it.
Normally, if an ordinary person jumped from such a height, even if there were an ocean below, they would be smashed into a pulp.
But under the rules of the game... no matter how high the fall was, as long as there was water below, you were invincible!
Galolie's character was the first to jump down from the surface of the pit. As a longtime Minecraft player, she had mastered this most basic mining maneuver with great proficiency.
"So this is what the underground looks like in the real world?"
Galolie casually planted a torch around the space Joshua had excavated, lighting up the surroundings.
Playing Minecraft in the real world still felt rather strange. The dirt
