Before the World Rift event began, Foya sent Joshua a message.
A very simple message: "Sleepy."
The moment Joshua received it, he entered the World of Consciousness. He did not see Foya there. Instead, he saw that proliferative version of Foya sitting beside a round table.
"Meeting again. Before your 'little sister' arrives, why don't you sit down and talk?"
She pointed to the seat on the other side of the round table. Joshua did not stand on ceremony... He walked over and sat where she had indicated.
"Would you like something to drink?"
As she spoke, a teapot suddenly appeared in her left hand, white steam rising from its spout.
At that moment, Joshua was certain that she possessed abilities similar to those of the Ascendants.
"You sure what's inside isn't made from the bodily fluids of Things from Beyond?"
Joshua pointed at the teapot. If this proliferative Foya was made of gray mist, he had every reason to doubt where the liquid inside had come from.
"This is a drink from reality. You can rest assured," she said.
"Then I'd like a glass of plain boiled water. No sugar, thanks." Joshua stated his request bluntly.
She froze for a moment, but still poured Joshua a glass of plain water.
"You're different from everyone I've known before." She watched Joshua take the glass. "Whether human or elf... I can't find any kind of person similar to you."
"Let's get to the point. What will it take for you to make Things from Beyond leave?"
Joshua held the glass she had handed him without drinking from it, his gaze fixed tightly on the proliferative Foya before him.
The fact that this proliferative Foya was willing to serve Joshua tea meant that... she wanted to talk to him.
"It won't leave,"
