Josie and Joia had not slept all night. She and her little sister had remained in a state of excitement akin to, We're going on a picnic tomorrow!
Joshua had not slept all night either. Aside from discussing future plans in the Parenting Group, he had spent the rest of the night reviewing comments about Magic Web Music.
Whenever he found a malicious comment, Joshua would nip it in the bud at its source.
This carnival-like state lasted until the next morning.
Josie watched nervously as the number of followers on her Magic Web Music account continued to rise, eventually reaching fifty thousand.
Her little sister Joia had already fallen asleep on the bed. Josie suppressed the excitement in her heart so as not to wake her sister, preparing to quietly leave the room.
The moment Josie stood up, she heard tapping against the window from outside.
An owl?
This was not Josie's first time buying something through Magic Web Shopping, and her sister often used it to buy snacks as well. Joia had specifically built an owl's nest on the balcony outside their window.
When Josie approached the window, she indeed saw an owl outside, tapping against the glass with its beak.
Josie opened the window, and it hopped around on the sill a few times before handing her a letter with its claws.
"Whoo, whoo, whoo."
After handing the letter to Josie, the owl's fluffy belly feathers puffed up and down along with its calls, as if urging her on.
"A letter?" Josie turned the envelope over and checked its contents. The recipient was clearly written as Josie.
She picked up an ink pen from the windowsill and signed her name on it. Particles of magic scattered across the letter, signifying that the owl had completed its task.
