While the other groups were still discussing what to make, Josie's group's ingredients had already arrived.
"It looks like we're making a lot of dishes. I'll help make the soup?"
Reddels rolled up her sleeves and began peeling the carrots.
Josie's friend had also been born into an ordinary mage family and was the type who often helped out with chores at home.
Perhaps because she had read too many novels, after a brief moment of shock, Reddels quickly accepted that her friend had such an impressive background.
"Then I'll make the main dishes."
Josie tied her long hair into a ponytail with a hair tie.
She was glad that the first competition was cooking... If it had been singing or acting, she would have felt utterly hopeless against the competition.
But cooking was no problem. Josie handled most of her father's three daily meals, though Joshua would occasionally call for Owl Takeout as backup.
In that environment, Josie had developed excellent cooking skills.

As for Arl, the third member of their team... hamburgers were probably the only thing she could make reliably.
And all the ingredients were already prepared.
"A normal lunch doesn't need fast food! Miss Arl... could you please peel the potatoes?" Joshua asked tentatively.
"No problem, leave it to me."
Arl found the potatoes among the ingredients on the table and began her postmodern artistic carving.
Josie temporarily shifted her attention from Arl to the other groups... The ingredients for the other groups had mostly arrived as well.
What caught her attention was... a thigh of meat taller than a person sitting on the ingredient table of her mother's group.
