At the end of the film screening, a rather interesting little incident took place.
A brave mage took the opportunity to confess his feelings to the girl beside him.
The girl seemed to be his classmate. Moved by the touching tragedy at the end of the film, she did not reject his confession. Instead, she covered her cheeks and accepted him emotionally.
That bold confession instantly made them the focus of the entire auditorium. The film's ending had left everyone present deeply moved, and quite a few audience members offered their blessings to the new couple.
Joshua cooperatively had the attendants bring over red rose petals, then used the Order spell Magic Hand to lift them high into the air before letting them drift slowly down.
It was an immensely romantic scene, romantic enough for everyone present to remember, including the couple themselves. Perhaps when they held their wedding in the future, the girl would even deliberately wear the golden princess dress Belle had worn.
Joshua really ought to add a line to the promotional slogan for Beauty and the Demon: "Want your confession to succeed one hundred percent of the time? Bring the girl you love to see this performance."
The happy-ending version of Beauty and the Demon could perhaps be advertised that way, but what Joshua had shown was the tragic version... He could not guarantee that this GG line would work one hundred percent of the time.
"How wonderful, how wonderful. Another new couple has stepped into the grave."
Ciri leaned against the window of the VIP Seats, watching the couple embrace beneath the rain of rose petals. She applauded along with everyone else, but her clapping was painfully slow and looked nothing like congratulations.
