First, her servant was killed by monsters. Then her father was beheaded right in front of her. And now, she was being hunted by those four monsters!

Cecile watched helplessly as her game character was crushed into fragments by one of the monsters. She struggled, trying to rush over and do something.
But it was useless. Joshua controlled his character and casually scooped her up in a princess carry.
No matter how the noble lady struggled, it was futile before a warrior with over five thousand strength.
Joshua carried the young lady and ran toward the city below.
"They're coming after us!"
Cecile turned to look behind them. The four massive monsters ignored everyone else in the manor.
Their hatred seemed focused solely on Joshua. They moved like frogs, leaping into the air with their powerful legs before landing beside Joshua with ground-shaking impacts.
A horned monster landed directly in front of Joshua, blocking his path.
"You can't escape, human."
Its pitch-black pupils lowered as it stared at Joshua and Cecile. Rather than hunting Joshua down... it felt more like they were toying with their prey before killing it.
"Is that so?"
The skill cast bar beneath Joshua's character had already finished. Amid Cecile's cry of surprise, she realized that she was somehow sitting atop an enormous rooster.
It really was a rooster! Cecile hadn't seen wrong—a rooster nearly the size of a camel.
"Hold on tight." Joshua's voice sounded beside Cecile's ear.
