The gunfire continued.
Anger leaned behind a wooden crate and began examining the Inscription Rifle the player had thrown over.
It had heard of weapons called guns through the information shared by Hatred. Hatred had even praised these weapons invented by humans, saying they would make future wars even crueler.
Anger had not expected to encounter one inside the Consciousness Space, and... the gun in its hands was far more advanced than those humans used in reality.

Based on the experience of having one of its avatars torn into scraps by bullets, Anger learned how to hold the rifle.
It fumbled around the rifle's grip for a moment, found the trigger, and gently pulled it.
Flames burst from the muzzle. The bullets struck the wall in front of Anger, leaving a string of bullet holes across it.
"The Smoke Grenade's effect is about to wear off! Do you have any more Smoke Grenades?"
The player was having his character reload his pistol. Having regained a weapon, Anger could no longer endure the player's endless chatter or the voices in its mind. It raised the gun at the player beside it first.
Anger pulled the trigger again, firing another three-round burst, but found that the person beside it was completely unharmed.
Why?
Anger fired several more shots at the person beside it, yet the character still suffered no damage whatsoever.
"Th-they're coming over! I think my pistol is out of bullets too."
The player did not notice at all that Anger had aimed its gun at him.
Anger let out a near-maddened roar, rose from behind the wooden crate, raised its gun, and pulled the trigger at the attacking-side characters on the other side.
