Alice sprang to her feet in astonishment, banging her knee against the desk. She sucked in a sharp breath from the pain and sat back down, clutching her knee.
"Hiss... That really hurt..." Alice rubbed her poor knee with a twisted expression, her train of thought interrupted for a moment.
Only after the pain gradually subsided did Alice begin considering the meaning of the dream.
First, she could rule out that child... The child was not a Beyonder, while the owner of the "Fortune Accessory" at Bravehearts Bar was a Middle Sequence Beyonder.
