Roselle's diary still maintained an extremely low information density. In the opening paragraphs, Alice got no information aside from the fact that his real name was Huang Tao.
...But that didn't seem very useful!
Alice continued reading with a complicated expression and obtained another piece of information that barely counted as useful: Roselle had transmigrated because of a mysterious Silver Plate.
That seemed to be all the information. Alice, who didn't know Klein was fighting an Amon avatar and that Amon himself had learned of her existence from The Sun, destroyed the diary and decided to go out and buy an ice cream to calm down.
Beneath St. Samuel Church.
Archbishop Saint Anthony, dressed in a black robe trimmed with red, emerged. Distracted, he ignored those who greeted him, went to the ground floor, leaned back in a seat, and began praying quietly.
After a while, he opened his eyes, let out a breath as he looked toward the church doors, then returned underground.
"Alice Kingsley?" In the dream, when the man opposite her, dressed in a bishop's robes, called out that name, Alice's pupils suddenly constricted, revealing obvious shock and fear.
"Just as I thought," the other party continued before she could adjust her expression. "Someone reported the fact that you are still alive to the Church of Evernight."
Alice opened her mouth, unsure what reaction would be considered normal—her spirituality told her that the person before her was a Demigod.
"Did you know about this?" the other party asked gently.
Alice relaxed slightly and shook her head.
"The person who reported you is named Charlie King," the other party said thoughtfully. "Do you know him?"
"..." Alice immediately realized that this was why she had sensed unease, this was Charlie King's final desperate counterattack before death.
