"Then it means you're not suited for this path." Alice answered expressionlessly.
"...Logically speaking, High-Sequence Beyonders of the Fate pathway should have the ability to bestow luck upon others, right?" Klein guessed.
Alice nodded in agreement, then answered under Klein's expectant gaze, "Indeed, they do. But everyone who completed the ritual that way eventually lost control."
"Huh?" Klein froze. "Then how do you tell whether it's a sufficiently lucky moment..."
"Simple." Alice smiled. "You drink it. If you don't go mad or lose control, then it was a sufficiently lucky moment."
