Alice looked at Will in the mirror and calmly asked back, "Don't I look like one?"

Will still answered in that mocking tone, "Yeah, you only look like one."

Bang!

As soon as Will Auceptin finished speaking, the Full-Length Mirror suddenly exploded with a deafening crash, shattering into countless fragments.

The large and small shards flew in every direction with the force of the explosion, yet as if deliberately controlled, they avoided Alice, who sat directly before the mirror.

No, one of them had not avoided her.

A somewhat larger shard struck the Fortune Accessory on Alice's chest before its momentum faded, making her lean back slightly from the impact.

Alice reached out, picked up the shard, and tossed it onto the floor without even looking at it. She inexplicably adjusted the Fortune Accessory, and when she spoke again, her tone was no longer as calm as before:

"I don't understand.

"Does provoking me benefit you in any way?"

Other than her own breathing and Velma's, there was no sound in the bedroom. No one answered Alice's question. Perhaps they could not, or perhaps they did not want to.

Having received no answer, Alice gave Velma, who knew nothing, one last look before leaving the bedroom.

Outside the door, the anxious Aaron saw Alice emerge, and his eyes lit up. He seemed to want to say something, yet for some reason, he was also afraid to speak with Alice as she was now.

Alice noticed Aaron, who hesitated to speak. She gently closed the door and, as though remembering something, asked, "Um... the Full-Length Mirror in that room broke. Do I need to pay for it?"

"..." Aaron's train of thought was interrupted for a moment. Almost instinctively, he followed Alice's line of thought. "No, no need. Probably no need."
