Alice quickly realized she had no need to be afraid. She was no longer as powerless as before. Gathering her courage, she left behind a fierce response:

"Why are you thanking me?!"

Amon did not get angry. Alice saw him chuckle, as though he had passed through something, then suddenly raise his head to look at her. In her terrified gaze, he softly said:

"Found you, Little Alice."

Alice immediately withdrew her gaze. She saw a transparent figure rapidly materialize in the room, smiling as he greeted her:

"Good evening?

"Hmm... do you still care about human etiquette now?"

Alice paused for a moment. Instead of responding, she asked somewhat uncertainly, "If I hadn't responded to you, would you still have been able to find me?"

Amon gave Alice a half-smiling look, sat down in the chair without ceremony, raised his eyes to her, and said in an exaggerated tone:

"I'm Amon! The Incarnation of Deceit! Can even half a word I say be trusted?"

Alice fell into deep thought.

Secretly glancing at Amon's half-smiling expression, Alice guiltily shifted back a little, raised her head, and shouted fiercely but inwardly timidly:

"I wasn't wrong!"

Amon was immediately amused. He made no attempt to hide his delight, laughing as he curiously asked, "So, what would happen if I admitted it?"

Alice looked at him in astonishment and asked back, "If you admitted it, wouldn't that make it obvious?"

Amon looked at Alice with an amazed expression. Ignoring that look, Alice took a deep breath and solemnly asked him:

"Thank you.

"How long can my current state last?"

Amon asked again in surprise, "I'm Amon! The Incarnation of Deceit! Can even half a word I say be trusted?"

Alice painfully covered her face with her hand, her voice slipping through her fingers.
