This was a question Alice had yet to figure out.

She was certain that one of the Seven Deities would die in this sudden war, but even now, Alice had not figured out who would be the one to die.

Unable to figure it out, she stopped thinking about it. The morning quickly passed, the air raid ended, and the newsboys on the streets brought news of the declaration of war. With nothing to do after leaving the church, Alice instinctively searched for Klein.

Sparks flashed in her field of vision for an instant, followed by blood and rust creeping over it. Alice's expression changed, and her figure appeared beside Klein in an instant.

Before her was a spacious living room. A handsome man with a bloodless face reclined halfway in an armchair, playing with a ball of crimson flame in his hand as he clicked his tongue at the two of them.

"Looks like the rumors were somewhat mistaken... You're more like his nanny."

After freezing for an instant, Alice realized he was talking about her. She widened her eyes and glared at the Red Angel evil spirit before retorting:

"Those are just rumors. Unlike you—you really are Amon's nanny."

Most of the Red Angel evil spirit's relaxed smile vanished. He looked toward Klein, who was reaching out to Alice, and sneered:

"You have quite a talent for provocation. Unfortunately, your friend lacks courage."

Alice turned to Klein. He did not stop moving; he grabbed Alice and pushed her directly in front of himself.

"...?" Alice turned back and glared at Klein.

The Red Angel evil spirit spoke as though he wanted to watch the fun grow bigger. "If I were you, I'd kick him right now."

"I'd rather kick you," Alice said, shifting her attention away from Klein.
