Wh-what do you mean, who wants it?
Luca Brewster froze in confusion. As he stood there stunned, Klein took advantage of Alice speaking to break free, activated Creeping Hunger, and used Travel to flee the scene.
Alice did not stop him. She stood up straight and adjusted her nonexistent appearance before bidding Luca Brewster farewell:
"Then I'm leaving too. Bye-bye~"
She waved her hand and Disappeared From the Spot.
"Extra! Extra! Feynapotter brazenly invades Lümborg!"
Leonard, wearing Red Gloves, stepped down from the carriage. As he prepared to enter St. Samuel's Church, he saw newsboys waving newspapers as they ran swiftly through the streets and squares.
He walked over and bought a paper. As he read through it, he lowered his voice and chatted with Pallez. Once he had finished the newspaper, he headed toward the church.
Inside St. Samuel's Church, he exchanged a few words with the Archbishop, straightened his clothes, said a brief prayer, and then descended underground.
Upon entering the underground area, his new teammates rose and greeted him:
"Captain."
That single word left Leonard, who had thought he had already grown used to it, momentarily dazed. He responded casually before entering his own office and speaking as if talking to himself:
"I kind of want to go back and take a look."
After hearing from Fors the Magician that the book had begun printing, Klein briefly gave himself a break. For the rest of the day and that night, he did not go out to act as a Trickmaster. Instead, he read Roselle's diary.
He had actually read most of the valuable diary entries before, so he read quickly. However, that did not cause Klein to overlook the key information, and he soon found something worth noting.
Alice learned the news during Monday lunch.
