Sky Soaring's Unease

The Netherworld, a place beyond description,

A gloomy hall floated silently beside the vast, boundless river of souls, yet it revealed not the slightest aura, like a piece of rotten wood that had long since fallen into silence.

Suddenly, within the hall, the Smoke-Shrouded Figure stirred slightly. The smoke parted, revealing a pair of eyes filled with surprise.

The sudden change caught Sky Soaring somewhat off guard, but he did not panic. For the sake of his grand plan, he had so many contingencies that he could barely remember them all.

Hongyun seeing through the Perception Barrier had always been within his margin for error. If anything, it was surprising that Hongyun, who had once wielded the Covered Lamp Fire, had only now seen through it. At this point, it amounted to nothing more than mild surprise.
