Although I'd said this before, I still needed to emphasize it once more.

At present, the author was fully devoted to this book. Aside from Bilibili, I didn't use any social media apps—no Weibo, no Douyin, no Xiaohongshu—and I certainly wouldn't engage in any flashy nonsense like selling courses. If readers saw anyone on other platforms using the author's data to do such things, please report them. Thank you.

Also, there would only be two updates today.

Twenty updates in two days had more or less used up the plot I'd been saving. I was quite satisfied with these twenty chapters—the characters from every side had good chances to appear, their motivations were reasonable, there were no huge logical flaws, and the whole process flowed like drifting clouds and running water, completed in one unbroken sweep. The several hours I spent writing the detailed outline had not been in vain.

So everyone understood: now that this stretch of plot had wrapped up, the author needed to sort out my thoughts again.

Just like last month, the usual slump after a burst of updates. We'll count updates based on three per day and keep a tab; currently, I owed one update.

There was no need to question the author's credibility. I'd been remarkably steadfast throughout these past few months of writing.
