Void Darkness Light Sea.

Endless Two Extremes Life-Death Profound Light collided continuously in the void. Even as destructive power surged, the breath of creation was born from within.

Suddenly, a faint prismatic glow appeared.

Within that glow stood Gangxing Budao True Lord, clad in azure robes, wearing a crown and bound by ritual attire. He walked upon the Light Sea as though treading level ground, every inch the elegant scholar.

Yet his expression was exceedingly grave. None of the casual ease he had shown when facing the cultivators of the Star Palace remained; instead, he looked solemnly ahead.

The next moment, waves rose across the Light Sea.

A figure of light had descended from the Void Darkness Land, drawing a response from the surrounding Light Sea. Before long, hazy mist drifted around the figure.

"Sky Soaring!"

Gangxing Budao True Lord narrowed his eyes. Unlike their previous meeting, when he had been uncertain and full of conjectures, this time his heart was filled with certainty.

The reason was simple. Only the real Sky Soaring—the former Number One True Lord Under Heaven—could cause such violent ripples in the Void Darkness Light Sea merely by appearing. In fact, he himself could accomplish something similar, but on a scale far inferior to what Sky Soaring had stirred up.

With that thought, Gangxing Budao True Lord immediately laughed aloud.

"My fellow Daoist has come again!"

At those words, Sky Soaring's heart stirred, but his expression did not pause in the slightest. He smiled as well. "It seems my fellow Daoist has obtained what he wished for?"

A watertight answer.

Gangxing Budao True Lord pondered inwardly. The person before him was undoubtedly Sky Soaring—but what about the previous one? Had that person also been Sky Soaring?
