Just as the name implied, I was genuinely worn out. My head was a little woozy.
Here was the course of my thoughts:
I actually wrote a chapter, and if I really pushed myself, I could probably finish two. But I wasn't very satisfied with it. After reading it over, I felt the plot development was a little off, and writing it didn't flow smoothly. It needed some adjustments. Then I looked at the time and knew I definitely wouldn't be able to make the update anyway. My condition wasn't great either, so after agonizing over it for ten minutes, I decided I might as well take a day off.
I'm being so sincere here. The readers should forgive me.
Also, there won't be ten updates tomorrow. I can't do it, so I don't dare promise it. Probably four updates.
As for the four updates I owe today, I plan to make them up at the beginning of next month. By then, there'll be a fully subscribed bonus side story about Sky Soaring, expected to be 8,000+ words. It's also connected to the plot and is meant to go with Qidian's Light of the Great God event. I promised it before, but I just haven't been able to spare the energy to write it.
