At the invitation of the Star Palace researchers, the final place Lu Yang went was a towering steel building at the center of the Mother Planet research zone.
Given Lu Yang's cultivation and strength, he naturally received the green light all the way. He encountered virtually no obstacles, and no one even came to question him. Before long, he arrived outside the steel building, where a group of Foundation Establishment-level researchers emerged to replace the previous receptionist.
Following them, Lu Yang passed through one area after another.
Each area seemed to be a laboratory for a separate research project. With a casual sweep of his gaze, Lu Yang could see researchers testing arrays everywhere.
Before long, a massive door came into view.
The researcher leading the way gently pushed it open, then stepped aside. Lu Yang did not stand on ceremony and strode straight into the room beyond.
This, too, was a laboratory.
The walls above, below, and on all sides were a brilliant white. One wall was fitted with an enormous isolation window, beyond which lay the sight of a primeval forest.
Before the isolation window stood a tall, graceful figure in a white lab coat and high heels. She held a metal panel in her hands, occasionally lifting a slender jade finger to write and draw across it. Whenever she fell into thought, she would unconsciously push up the glasses on the bridge of her nose.
"Mentor, the honored guest has arrived," the researcher guiding him said softly.
