First off, there won't be an update today. I won't hide it from everyone—I've been feeling a little drained and tired. I spent several hours last night writing Chronicles of the Immortal Pivot and sorting out the outline. I was severely sleep-deprived, and after lunch, I slept through most of the afternoon. When I got up and sat down at my computer, I had no inspiration, and my urge to slack off gained the upper hand again. So I'm taking the day off.
And considering where the story currently is, I estimate I won't be able to make up for it. After all, there's a bit too much to make up. If I absolutely have to repay it, then I can only do so whenever fate allows. I can't make any guarantees. Dear readers, you're welcome to keep a tally if you want, but I can only repay it in batches. Exactly when and how much will depend on my condition.
But while I have the chance, I'm also planning to adjust the update time.
Speaking of which, the main reason I originally set the update time to ten o'clock was that as the word count grew, I needed more and more time to think through the plot. On top of that, I still had a job back then, so there was simply no way I could get an update out by noon. That was why I pushed it back.
However, after I went full-time in August, the situation changed. A ten o'clock update was too late, and instead it made me develop a habit of staying up late. I often slept in the morning, thought about the plot in the afternoon, and only started writing around four or five. Then I'd rush to update by ten, spend an hour
