Six Updates Today, but They'll Be Later-Expected at 5 PM

As the title says.

A reader previously reminded me that, even setting aside the day I took off, I didn't owe one update—I owed two.

And today happened to have a short stretch of plot. I did the math, and six updates should be enough to get through it, so I'll write a little extra while I'm at it. But there's definitely no way I can make it before twelve, so I'm expecting to post at 5 PM.
