Ch. 1493Infinite Method!

Lu Yang used Chu Sheng’s attack to complete his transformation from [Death Loop] into [Infinite Method]. He emerged with an expanded essence capable of standing alongside the Dao Lords, setting the stage for the Light Sea’s balance of power to change.

  • Lu Yang recalled that the Ancestral Dragon’s [Life Nourishment] inheritance had let him secretly gather enough power to hinder Chu Sheng at a critical moment.
  • With his preparations complete and the World Honored One having attained the Netherworld, Lu Yang charged Chu Sheng and deliberately let [Fixed Number] kill him so its power would enter his Great Dao.
  • Chu Sheng recognized Lu Yang’s plan and poured out his full power, cracking the Great Dao halo at the connection between [Death Loop]’s beginning and end.
  • Lu Yang’s halo reversed its positive and negative sides, completing the transformation into [Infinite Method].
  • Chu Sheng, Sword Lord, Wan Fa, Cang Hao, and the other Dao Lords recognized that Lu Yang could now stand alongside them, while Si Sui’s freedom threatened to reshape the Light Sea’s power struggle.

Ch. 1494A Battle Was Due, Face-to-Face!

Lu Yang fought Chu Sheng head-on in the Void Darkness, proving that his Infinite power let him withstand Chu Sheng’s attacks and recover almost instantly. As the World Honored One watched the seal break, Si Sui returned from 129,600 years ago and began rewriting history.

  • Lu Yang unleashed his Infinite Ring and attacked Chu Sheng, who countered with a spacetime-spanning palm strike.
  • Lu Yang survived Chu Sheng’s attempt to erase him across time and repeatedly recovered, while their clash sent destructive aftershocks through the Void Darkness.
  • The Dao Lords retreated from the battle’s deadly aftershocks as Lu Yang and Chu Sheng emerged, having fought to an apparent standstill.
  • Chu Sheng judged that he needed to regain his higher-layer power to suppress Lu Yang, whose injuries healed rapidly through [Infinite].
  • The World Honored One took command of the expanded Netherworld and watched the seal shatter as the Karma of False History and True History converged.
  • Si Sui returned from 129,600 years ago, and unprecedented Karma began rewriting history.

Ch. 1495Tribulation

Si Sui escaped False History and began his False Transcendence, but Sword Lord, Cang Hao, and Wan Fa attacked to stop him. Their clash was interrupted when a new Great Dao of [Tribulation] arose from the [Sea of Suffering], signaling that someone else was proving Dao Lord.

  • Si Sui emerged from False History and climbed to the Fifth Layer of [Other Shore], ignoring Du Xuan and the other Dao Lords.
  • Si Sui recognized that Chu Sheng had taken the final step and judged that he was no longer human, briefly stirring a ripple in Chu Sheng’s thoughts.
  • Si Sui began shedding his accumulated powers to attempt [False Transcendence], aiming to surpass Chu Sheng.
  • Sword Lord attacked Si Sui, and Cang Hao and Wan Fa joined her; Si Sui shattered Sword Lord’s future visions and sent her flying into Void Darkness.
  • A blood-red [Tribulation] Great Dao rose from the [Sea of Suffering], while an emerald, towering tree manifested and announced someone’s attempt to prove Dao Lord.

Ch. 1496The First Person in History!

Ling Xiao Dong Huang True Lord used a plan made with Si Sui to attain Dao Lordhood as the first person in history to do so without a Dao Lord’s arrangement. He claimed a vacant position on the Other Shore, repelled Du Xuan, and completed his Dao.

  • Calamity Qi filled the cosmos as Ling Xiao Dong Huang True Lord’s [Tribulation] appeared, and the Dao Lords recognized him through the fading Mist Barrier.
  • Ling Xiao Dong Huang True Lord’s towering tree crossed the first layer of the Other Shore and reached the second, drawing the Dao Lords’ attention.
  • Si Sui used [False Transcendence] to leave the Void Darkness, and his Dharma Body, Yin-Yang, and Dao Heart fell into the Real World to strengthen Ling Xiao Dong Huang True Lord.
  • Ling Xiao Dong Huang True Lord’s tree reached the third layer, and he attacked Du Xuan, who fled after realizing he had been deceived.
  • Ling Xiao Dong Huang True Lord took the vacant position on the Other Shore and declared his Dao complete, having become a Dao Lord through his own efforts.

Ch. 1497Heaven Beyond Heaven Opens!

Lu Yang used Sky Soaring’s ascension and the enhanced Dao Heart to strengthen himself, then gathered the seven Heavenly Remnant Consciousnesses by forcing Chu Sheng to abandon the Final Calamity. Their reunion opened a gateway to Heaven Beyond Heaven, revealing a vast world beyond the reach of Dao Lords.

  • Lu Yang refined the Dao Heart Sky Soaring had secured and used it to remove a hidden danger in his Primordial Spirit cultivation.
  • The consciousness in the Divine Fortune Book of Fate sensed that Xuande was indirectly wielding Tribulation and chose not to attack Lu Yang.
  • Chu Sheng began invoking the Final Calamity, but Lu Yang summoned the Heavenly Remnant Consciousnesses through Dao Tianqi’s Carefree Wandering and Lu Xian’s secret Dharma Seal.
  • Lu Yang’s open scheme persuaded Chu Sheng to abandon the Final Calamity and release Grandmaster, while the World Honored One cleared the Karmic Net’s obstruction.
  • The seven Heavenly Remnant Consciousnesses gathered, opening a gateway to Heaven Beyond Heaven and revealing a boundless world beyond it.

Ch. 1499Worthy of Being a True Lord of My Sacred Sect!

The Dao Lords approached Heaven Beyond Heaven, but the gate remained shut because Ancestral Dragon was missing. Sky Soaring proposed taking Ancestral Dragon’s Primordial Spirit with him, leaving Chu Sheng silent as Lu Yang laughed at the scheme.

  • The Dao Lords looked back on their pasts, and Chu Sheng was the first to charge toward Heaven Beyond Heaven, followed by Sword Lord, Cang Hao, Wan Fa, and Du Xuan.
  • Lu Yang and the other Dao Lords arrived, but Heaven Beyond Heaven’s gate stayed shut until Ancestral Dragon called from within the Light Sea and revealed that it was needed.
  • Sky Soaring tried to ram the gate, then offered to take Ancestral Dragon’s Primordial Spirit with him so they could enter together.
  • Ancestral Dragon recognized that cooperating with Sky Soaring was its best chance to escape, and Sky Soaring silently asked Chu Sheng to consider the proposal.
  • Lu Yang laughed and praised Sky Soaring’s willingness to use any means to achieve his goal.

Ch. 1500Memories of a Transcender

Chu Sheng released a fragment of the Ancestral Dragon’s Primordial Spirit, allowing [Sky Soaring] to enter Heaven Beyond Heaven alongside the other Dao Lords. There, Lu Yang realized Heaven Beyond Heaven was a reflection of the Ancient Era, and Chu Sheng learned that it offered a chance to remake the past and contend for transcendence again.

  • Chu Sheng agreed to release part of the Ancestral Dragon’s Primordial Spirit after deciding he could not gain a decisive advantage by refusing [Sky Soaring].
  • The Ancestral Dragon broke free from its seal as a Primordial Spirit fragment, joined [Sky Soaring], and helped him overcome Heaven Beyond Heaven’s restrictions.
  • Chu Sheng and nine other Dao Lords entered Heaven Beyond Heaven together.
  • Lu Yang found himself in a vast wilderness and realized the realm was a memory of the Ancient Era left behind by [Jun], where events could alter the past as fact.
  • In the Ancient Era’s [Divine Province], Chu Sheng read the [Divine Fortune Book of Fate] and learned that [Jun] had left the Dao Lords and Ancient Era Dao Ancestors another chance to contend for transcendence.

Ch. 1501Spirit Transformation Opportunity

Chu Sheng learned that the Spirit Transformation opportunity was a seed that grew into a Great Dao Tree, while Lu Yang investigated the Ancient Era and decided to seek its Dao Ancestors. Lu Xian awakened in Purple Firmament Palace, realized the contest for Spirit Transformation had begun again, and set out to inform Senior Xuande.

  • Chu Sheng asked Immortal Taiyuan about the Spirit Transformation opportunity and learned that the Dao Ancestors had fought over a seed that could grow into a Great Dao Tree.
  • Lu Yang questioned why the Ancient Era had perished despite Jun's Spirit Transformation breakthrough, then used his strange influence to gather information from three passing cultivators.
  • Lu Yang saw an infant's birth in a distant city and realized that the Fate Cultivation Dao Ancestor had reincarnated to lecture and transmit the Dharma.
  • Lu Yang concluded that the Light Sea and Ancient Era Dao Ancestors would both compete for the opportunity, and decided to meet the Fate Cultivation Dao Ancestor.
  • Lu Xian awoke in Purple Firmament Palace, found Dao Venerable's meditation seat empty, and understood that the Spirit Transformation contest had begun again.
  • Lu Xian decided to contact Senior Xuande and paid homage to the Dharma-Equalizing Dao Venerable.

Ch. 1502Turbulence in the Ancient Era

Lu Xian revealed to the Dao Ancestors that the [Divine Fortune Book of Fate] had vanished, signaling that someone from the future had arrived with the Dao Venerable’s aid. As the Dao Ancestors scattered to pursue the opportunity, Lu Yang realized they knew about the visitors and reached a courtyard where the newborn Immortal Taiyuan recognized him as Junior Brother Xuande.

  • Lu Xian summoned the seventeen Dao Ancestors to Purple Firmament Palace and told them the Dao Venerable had issued a decree about an opportunity.
  • The Dao Ancestors saw that the [Divine Fortune Book of Fate] had vanished and concluded that someone from the future had arrived with the Dao Venerable’s help.
  • The Dao Ancestors of the Name and Form Teachings left to find Immortal Taiyuan, while [Life Nourishment] fled and the remaining Dao Ancestors became opponents.
  • Lu Yang sensed that the Order of the ancient world had become unstable and realized the Dao Ancestors knew that he and his companions had arrived.
  • Lu Yang reached a courtyard, where the newborn Immortal Taiyuan turned toward him and called him Junior Brother Xuande.

Ch. 1503Second Spirit Transformation Contest

Lu Yang met Dao Ancestor Return to Fate in the form of a baby and learned that the coming opportunity was a Seed of the Great Dao, though its timing was uncertain. An attack by Dao Ancestor Geomancy destroyed their surroundings, and Lu Yang realized the danger of the approaching contest and questioned whether the Hundred Lives Book could restart him in Absolute Reality.

  • Dao Ancestor Return to Fate recognized Lu Yang as Junior Brother Xuande and proposed exchanging information about the Divine Fortune Book of Fate, future arrivals, and the Dao Ancestors’ plans.
  • Dao Ancestor Return to Fate explained that the opportunity was a Seed of the Great Dao, whose battle should have occurred one hundred and twenty-nine thousand six hundred years earlier but was expected to appear in the present.
  • Lu Yang realized the Remembrance World would become a battlefield and suspected that Dao Ancestor Return to Fate had drawn him into danger.
  • Dao Ancestor Geomancy attacked by extracting Geomancy from the surrounding area, and Lu Yang used the Light of Order to shelter himself and Return to Fate.
  • Dao Ancestor Return to Fate sent the baby’s family into a peaceful sleep and revealed that he had reincarnated into the past to meet Lu Yang.
  • Lu Yang identified the attacker as Dao Ancestor Geomancy and wondered whether the Hundred Lives Book’s Restart power could work in Absolute Reality.

Ch. 1504The Great Merit of Saving the World

Lu Yang learned that his transformed Restart power could still work and anchored a moment during the Spirit Transformation contest. Return to Fate Dao Ancestor explained that some Dao Ancestors sought Spirit Transformation by saving Divine Province, while Chu Sheng prepared to exploit their belief and was confronted by the Name and Form patriarchs.

  • Lu Yang confirmed that the [Hundred Lives Book] could Restart him, used an Anchor Point to anchor the present moment, and questioned Return to Fate Dao Ancestor about his conflict with Geomancy.
  • Return to Fate Dao Ancestor explained that Divine Province faced destruction when the Light Sea was born and that some Dao Ancestors hoped saving the world would earn them Spirit Transformation.
  • Chu Sheng used the [Divine Fortune Book of Fate] to dismiss that belief as false and considered exploiting it to win over Dao Ancestors who rejected the Seed of the Great Dao.
  • The patriarchs of the Name and Form Teachings appeared and challenged Chu Sheng, with the Name patriarch calling him Taiyi Heaven and revealing his face as the Dao Venerable.

Ch. 1505The Dao Ancestors' Differences

Chu Sheng showed the Name and Form patriarchs the [Other Shore] path, and they agreed to help him seize the Seed of the Great Dao in exchange for borrowing his name and appearance. Lu Yang learned that Dao Ancestor Return to Fate and his fellow Fate Cult Dao Ancestor had radically different plans for dealing with the Final Calamity.

  • Chu Sheng demonstrated [Other Shore], and the Name and Form patriarchs judged it a viable path to transcendence and agreed to aid him in the battle for the Seed of the Great Dao.
  • The Name Cult patriarch took the name [Taiyi Heaven], while the Form Cult patriarch took Chu Sheng's appearance, binding their transcendence to theirs while preserving a way to abandon them if defeat seemed certain.
  • Dao Ancestor Return to Fate told Lu Yang that many Dao Ancestors would still contend for the Seed of the Great Dao even if they had no interest in possessing it.
  • Dao Ancestor Return to Fate revealed that he planned to kill the Divine Province's people and cultivators, then reincarnate them into a future without the Final Calamity.
  • Dao Ancestor Return to Fate explained that the Fate Cult's first Dao Ancestor planned to become an innate Dao God embodying the Final Calamity, then kill himself immediately to end it before it began.

Ch. 1507Feng Shui Dao Ancestor

Lu Yang protected Return to Fate’s true spirit from Zhu Liuxian and negotiated to exchange it for Zhu Liuxian’s help in finding the Seed of the Great Dao and holding off an opponent. Zhu Liuxian demanded that Lu Yang place a white jade pillar in the Immortal-Nurturing Land, where Shan Qiuhuo suddenly sensed danger.

  • Lu Yang saw that Return to Fate’s true spirit was still pulsing, confirming that Return to Fate had reincarnated in the future Light Sea and become a Dao Lord.
  • Zhu Liuxian tried to seize the true spirit, but Lu Yang used the Light of Order to stop him and drew it into his sleeve.
  • Zhu Liuxian explained that he wanted the true spirit because Return to Fate’s plan could disrupt his Feng Shui grand formation and the balance of Heaven, Earth, and Man.
  • Lu Yang offered to hand over the true spirit if Zhu Liuxian would locate the Seed of the Great Dao for him and help hold back one opponent.
  • Zhu Liuxian agreed in exchange for Lu Yang placing a white jade pillar in the Immortal-Nurturing Land, which was held by Shan Qiuhuo.
  • Shan Qiuhuo suddenly woke in his Grotto-Heaven, drew a sharp breath, and feared that someone was trying to harm him.

Ch. 1508There Really Was a Bu Xian?

Lu Yang learned that Shan Qiuhuo was secretly both Life Nourishment Dao Ancestors and could evade anyone seeking him. After Lu Xian revealed how to locate him, Shan Qiuhuo sensed the approach of a fated tribulation and resigned himself to leaving matters to someone else.

  • Lu Xian warned Lu Yang that the Name and Form patriarchs had allied with Chu Sheng and Immortal Taiyuan, then agreed to investigate Return to Fate's scheme among the Light Sea Dao Lords.
  • Lu Xian explained that the two apparent Life Nourishment Dao Ancestors were both Shan Qiuhuo, who had forged a second path and mastered Feng Shui methods to preserve his life.
  • Lu Yang asked Lu Xian to help locate Shan Qiuhuo, and Lu Xian agreed after Lu Yang argued that neither Shan Qiuhuo nor Zhu Liuxian sought the Seed of the Great Dao.
  • In an unnamed place, Shan Qiuhuo lamented a tribulation written in his fate, then accepted a mysterious message and left the rest to someone else.

Ch. 1509Immortal-Nurturing Land

Lu Yang visited Shan Qiuhuo in the Immortal-Nurturing Land and learned that Shan had planned to survive the Final Calamity by placing the land inside a fragment of Dao Venerable’s soul. Lu Yang recognized the land as the predecessor of the Netherworld, while Shan’s other self, Bu Changming, emerged and demanded to know how he would fail.

  • Lu Yang entered the Immortal-Nurturing Land and met Shan Qiuhuo, who said he wanted only to survive the Final Calamity and avoid competing for the Seed of the Great Dao or saving the Divine Province.
  • Shan Qiuhuo explained that he had planned to place the entire Life-Nourishing Land inside one of the seven secret-realm fragments formed from Dao Venerable’s divided soul.
  • Lu Yang realized that Shan Qiuhuo’s plan had led to the land becoming the source of the Origin Jade used to create the Netherworld, though Shan himself had died during the process.
  • Shan Qiuhuo divined that his future self had failed, and Lu Yang recognized that a dangerous presence was stirring within him.
  • Shan Qiuhuo released Bu Changming, who swallowed him and demanded that Lu Yang reveal how he had failed.

Ch. 1510Life Nourishment Dao Ancestor

Lu Yang fought Bu Changming, who had trapped him inside the [Immortal-Nurturing Land] and used [Geomancy] to attack him. After Bu Changming escaped Lu Yang’s suppression and explained his [Life Nourishment] Dao, Lu Yang attacked again, while Bu Changming revealed he hoped to unite three spirits and complete his [Geomancy] Dao.

  • Lu Yang escaped Bu Changming’s [Geomancy] attack, but Bu Changming severed him from the outside world and struck with annihilating light.
  • Lu Yang used the Infinite Ring to withstand Bu Changming’s attacks, and Bu Changming broke the Ring by finding a flaw in its operation.
  • Bu Changming explained that his [Life Nourishment] Dao focused on identifying deficiencies and filling gaps, and rejected Zhu Liuxian’s plan to plant a formation foundation in his [Immortal-Nurturing Land].
  • Lu Yang told Bu Changming that his path had failed because he was reduced to ashes in the Final Calamity, then attacked him again with the Infinite Ring.
  • Bu Changming escaped once more and said that uniting three spirits with [Geomancy] could perfect his Dao, leading Lu Yang to think of Sanhe of the Great Sword Sect.

Ch. 1511Beat into Submission

Dan Qingjian recorded Return to Fate’s death and explained his plan to preserve Divine Province’s civilization, then sought entry to Immortal-Nurturing Land. Ch. 1512Si Sui: Mediocre Teacher!

Shan Qiuhuo abandoned his failed plan and helped Lu Yang complete Zhu Liuxian’s grand array, while Lu Yang discovered that Return to Fate’s True Spirit belonged to the World Honored One. Si Sui then shattered Dan Qingjian’s manifestation and denounced him as a “mediocre teacher.”
