Behind this Dharma Appearance, the two disciples who had already taken their positions—Suppress-South King Wu Tai'an of the Dao Court and True Person Quexie—also unleashed their auras. True Person Quexie pointed toward White Wax Metal, while Suppress-South King Wu Tai'an pointed toward Mountaintop Fire.
Above the Vault Sky, stars emerged.
That said, it was not truly necessary for True Person Quexie and Wu Tai'an to succeed in Golden Seeking. As long as they could manifest their Fruit Positions, that would count as success.
Once the Fruit Positions manifest, they can be drawn into the Buddha Land.
Then, as long as I can attain City-Wall Earth, I can seize control of the Buddha Land and thereby indirectly manipulate the other Fruit Positions drawn into it.
Unfortunately, times had changed.
In the past, City-Wall Earth had been locked down by the Pure Land through Unity of Ten Thousand Hearts. No one but a Buddhist Cultivator could attain it, ensuring that the Buddha Land could never fall into outsiders' hands.
But now, if the Pure Land could not attain City-Wall Earth at the same time the Buddha Land formed, and instead allowed someone from the other four paths to succeed in Golden Seeking, that person could immediately turn the tables with the mighty power of a True Lord, making the Pure Land's Earthly Buddha Land nothing more than a bridal gown sewn for another!
