In fact, after taking a high-speed airship and drifting through the void for nearly twenty years before arriving at the Crimson Red Continent, he felt that his opportunity had come.

A heaven-sent opportunity lay before him.

From the moment he stepped off the airship and sensed the incomparably dense Crimson Force on the Crimson Red Continent, murderous intent had risen within him.

He had entertained ambitions of killing Captain Alfred and the others, then claiming this plane for himself.

The other five devils who were close to him thought the same and said they were willing to follow his arrangements.

But...

Nico's murderous intent and ambition had merely flashed through his mind. He had not acted on them. Instead, he obeyed every arrangement from the captain and completed every task Alfred assigned him.

Why?

Why had he not turned his thoughts into action?

With the strength of the six devils, even though the Crimson Red Continent was filled with experts, few could stand against them. They could have conquered a territory, stopped living under others, stopped being ordered around, and regained the dignity of devils.

In short, as long as they killed Captain Alfred and the others, Nico and his companions would immediately gain many things—freedom, power, greater room to survive and develop, and more.

Why not fight for it?

They simply did not dare.

Nico and the others simply could not make up their minds.

Because every one of the devils, including Nico, had the Xiao Hong System installed in their minds—a Xiao Hong System with extremely powerful functions.

However, the Xiao Hong System's mission system was managed by Captain Alfred.
