Momoshiki and his companions attacked the Land of Rain, overwhelming Nagato, Jiraiya, and Orochimaru while threatening to destroy the country. Black Zetsu revealed Madara’s connection to Nagato’s Rinnegan, and Nagato used Rinne Rebirth to resurrect Madara, hoping he could save the Land of Rain.
