Background / History

Ye Lingling is the daughter of Ye Chen. After she inherited the Ye Family’s Nine Heart Begonia, unknown pursuers massacred the Ye Family and targeted her Martial Soul. Xiao Tian encountered the pair while they were fleeing, rescued them, and agreed to protect Lingling after Ye Chen drew the pursuers away. 145

Initially quiet, distrustful, and emotionally burdened by her separation from her father, Lingling was taken to Holy Soul Village by Xiao Tian. He prepared a room for her and taught her Phantom Music Art and Lingbo Weibu so that she could survive independently rather than rely solely on healing. Over six months of training with Xiao Tian and Tang San, she regained much of her childhood openness and cheerfulness. 146

Lingling accompanied Xiao Tian and Tang San to Nuoding Junior Soul Master Academy, revealing herself to be a two-ring Great Soul Master with the Nine Heart Begonia. 147 At Shrek Academy, she served as the group’s principal healer during Zhao Wuji’s entrance assessment, healing the other candidates after they were injured. 153

At the Great Soul Arena, she partnered with Xiao Tian as the Tian-Ling Couple Team. While Xiao Tian overwhelmed their opponents, Lingling healed them afterward, demonstrating both her team utility and her concern for injured enemies. 155

The Legend of Qin
