Xuan Zi sent Ling Luochen to investigate the Far North and block a route the Sun Moon Empire might use. Ling Luochen, Cai Meier, Xian Lin'er, and Ma Xiaotao entered the frozen wilderness with Heaven Dou Empire troops, where Cai Meier ordered a long-term military position established.

• Xuan Zi ordered Song Lao to pursue the Sun Moon Empire’s Soul Engineer Corps and realized the Far North could have provided their route across the border.
• Xuan Zi summoned Ling Luochen and tasked her with returning to her family to investigate the Far North and seal the northern passage into the Sun Moon Empire.
• Ling Luochen returned to her family with Cai Meier, Xian Lin'er, and Ma Xiaotao, while Xian Lin'er mobilized troops from a nearby Heaven Dou Empire camp.

Snow Empress and Jiang Shengyu rallied the Far North’s powerful Soul Beasts to drive the Heaven Dou Empire soldiers out. Their assault overwhelmed the encampment, leaving Cai Meier and Xian Lin'er facing the Titan Snow Demon King and Xiaobai as the soldiers panicked.

• Snow Empress ordered the Titan Snow Demon King and Xiaobai to gather their clans, and Xiaobai summoned hundreds of ten-thousand-year Icefield Bears.
• Jiang Shengyu showed the gathered Soul Beasts the soldiers’ location and ordered them to drive the humans away so survivors would spread fear.
• A worsening blizzard extinguished Ma Xiaotao’s Phoenix True Fire and destroyed the soldiers’ encampment.

She agreed to cooperate only if they destroyed the Demon Soul Great White Shark clan, and Jiang Shengyu demanded to know what she would offer in return.

• Jiang Shengyu identified the enormous whale as the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King, the wife of the Million Year Level soul beast killed by Sea God Tang San.
• The Deep Sea Demonic Whale King told Snow Empress and Jiang Shengyu that she had come to investigate a Deity’s aura and proposed that they join forces against the Deities.
• Jiang Shengyu said the Far North had allied with the Sun Moon Empire and invited the whale to cooperate, then provoked her by bringing up Tang San’s killing of her husband.
• Jiang Shengyu revealed the Silver Dragon King’s aura through his bracelet, convincing the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King that he had ties to the Dragon Clan.
• The Deep Sea Demonic Whale King agreed to cooperate if Jiang Shengyu’s group destroyed the Demon Soul Great White Shark clan, whose protection by Sea God made them difficult for her to attack.
• Jiang Shengyu asked what she would offer in return, insisting that their cooperation be on equal terms.

Jiang Shengyu persuaded the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King, who called herself Demon Empress, to join him by promising she could become the new Sea God after Tang San’s death. They traveled with Snow Empress to confront the Demon Soul Great White Sharks, whose leader Whitey trusted the Sea God’s protection.

Jiang Shengyu and Snow Empress attacked the Demon Soul Great White Sharks, and Jiang Qingtong joined the battle by summoning the God of Destiny. After the God of Destiny killed Whitey and collected the soul rings, Jiang Shengyu and Jiang Qingtong demanded that Demon Empress choose whether to submit.

• Whitey dismissed Jiang Shengyu’s threat and led nearly twenty Hundred Thousand Year Demon Soul Great White Sharks into battle against him and Snow Empress.
• A red-and-blue spear killed one of the sharks, and Jiang Qingtong arrived to reclaim the Icefire Dragon Spear before joining Jiang Shengyu.
• Jiang Shengyu and Jiang Qingtong combined their Martial Soul Avatars to summon the God of Destiny, who quickly slew the surrounding sharks and defeated Whitey.

• The Demon Empress accepted Jiang Shengyu’s Whale Pearl and agreed to eliminate Sea Soul Beasts that attacked the Sun Moon Empire, though she refused its help in taking control of the sea.
• After returning to Bright Capital, Jiang Shengyu and Jiang Qingtong learned from Xie Lingling that something had happened in the Great Fiend Forest.

• The Abyssal Sage King questioned his layer lords about Douluo Continent, cautioned them about its God Realm, and vowed to forge a God King divine position after devouring it.
