Near dawn.
It was the darkest hour. The red fighter screamed through the sky, while Red Ponytail sat calmly in the cockpit, gripping the controls as she gazed into the black night ahead.
Still... just charging in like this didn't quite feel right.
With that thought, Red Ponytail reached out, switched on the fighter's music system, and pushed the volume up.
Soon, stirring, majestic music began to play. Then, accompanied by a fast-paced BGM, a woman's voice rang out through the cockpit.
"Apple blossoms bloom across the far horizon, soft mist drifts over the river; Katyusha stands upon the steep bank, her song bright as spring sunlight..."
Now that's more like it!
Listening to the familiar song, Red Ponytail smacked the controls hard and sent the fighter racing forward.
For Albion's soldiers, however, they still had no idea that their doom had arrived.
"Those officials are completely insane. Dragging us out in the middle of the night to patrol... Patrol what?!"
One soldier rode atop a Mutalisk, straining to peer through the pitch-black night as he grumbled. He had been sleeping soundly beneath his blankets when he was ruthlessly dragged out, only to be told that those officials wanted them to patrol... What kind of joke was this?
"Enough complaining. Everyone's been tense lately, hasn't they?"
"That may be true, but those officials are way too jumpy! Tristain's army hasn't even arrived yet, right? At their speed, even if they set off immediately, it would take them a week to reach Albion. What's the point of throwing us out here now? If you ask me, those guys have been scared out of their wits!"
