What the hell were these monsters?

Luke swung his Lightsaber, cutting down a bug that had pounced at him, his heart sinking. He had come to Tandania in place of his father, mainly to observe Heavenly Dao Palace's methods of battle. But Luke had never expected the supposedly safe surface to become the first battlefield.

These bizarre monsters charged in from every direction, killing anyone they saw. Through the Force, Luke could sense the cold, boiling killing intent in the minds of these frenzied bugs. They only craved to kill everything, destroy everything, devour everything...

These monsters!

"Fall back! Tighten the defensive line! Protect the civilians and get them into the shelters!"

All Luke could do now was resist the bugs' invasion as best he could while evacuating the residents. Even so, he was clearly struggling. The Galactic Empire's cities had obviously never been designed with this sort of situation in mind. Moreover, these monsters had clearly been hiding on this planet for a long time. When they burst out of the sewers, deserted underground districts, and highways, they immediately caused massive chaos.

What was more, these monsters were incredibly powerful in combat.

As a former resistance fighter, Luke naturally knew how formidable the Imperial forces and Stormtroopers were. Yet before these monsters, those Stormtroopers who had once seemed invincible to the resistance were as fragile as lambs. Their fighting spirit remained firm, but the two sides simply were not on the same level.

Luke had seen with his own eyes that the rifles in the Stormtroopers' hands could not inflict even the slightest injury on those monsters. Meanwhile, the creatures paid no attention to the Stormtroopers' armor at all, simply reaching out and tearing them in half. That armor, once the crystallization of Galactic Empire technology, was so fragile
