In the end, Umbridge still failed to get the job as Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher and was forced to teach Magical Creatures Protection Class instead. This made her very unhappy. She was always sullen whenever she looked at Airi, but Airi simply couldn't be bothered with her and completely ignored her existence.

Just like in the original story, Harry was under enormous pressure at the moment. No one knew what he had been through. Those articles in the Daily Prophet attacking him called him an attention-seeking liar, claiming he had deliberately said the Dark Lord had returned just to attract attention, that it was all nothing but lies, and so on. As a result, Harry was under tremendous pressure at school as well. He hardly slept in the Gryffindor dormitory anymore, instead going off to find Snape every night... As for what the two of them did all night, Airi had no interest in knowing.

The students all disliked Umbridge. Her magical creatures were neither fun, interesting, nor tasty. Just like in the original story, Umbridge didn't even show them any magical creatures. She merely made them read books—though if the woman herself weren't so disgusting, Airi would have thought that was actually a pretty decent teaching method.

Although many students hated it, were teachers supposed to teach just to make students happy?

That whole "I love studying" thing was nothing more than a fantasy from literary works, okay? Other than top students, hadn't studying always been painful?
