"Silver Witch!"
The Slaughter Teacher's expression shifted slightly when he saw Airi appear.
"You're the culprit, aren't you? That girl is an artificial life-form?"
After glancing at the blue-haired girl, Airi turned her gaze back to the Slaughter Teacher.
"I see. So that's why you made her use a Familiar Beast."
It had been said before that Familiar Beasts consumed enormous amounts of magical power and life force. Therefore, aside from Vampires, who possessed nearly infinite "negative" life force, almost no other race used Familiar Beasts. Artificial life-forms were different, however. As the name implied, they were lives created artificially—disposable products by nature. So even if a Familiar Beast consumed an artificial life-form's lifespan, its creator would not care in the slightest.
Airi did not express any indignation. She had seen too much in battle and knew that wasting words on someone like this, condemning him for playing with life, was utterly meaningless. If he could do something like this, what was the point of arguing morality with him? Only idiots wasted their breath criticizing villains for their inhuman behavior. Airi preferred to express her displeasure through action.
For example...
"Godly Blade Unseen!!"
Airi raised her wand and loudly chanted the spell. The next instant, an invisible blade crossed the battlefield and tore through the Slaughter Teacher's armor. Blood sprayed out as he swayed, gripping his battle axe tightly.
"Worthy of the Silver Witch. It seems you're quite dissatisfied with my actions?"
"I'm not very good with words. I think actions are a more appropriate way to make my point... Yukina, that girl and her Familiar Beast are yours. I'll deal with the one responsible!"
The moment she finished speaking, Airi flashed forward, turning into a streak of white mist as she lunged at the Slaughter Teacher. The blue-haired girl
