The mist rolled in before her eyes.

After Shizuku and Tamamo-no-Mae followed the woman out of the supermarket, they were immediately swallowed by the dense fog. The mist before them was so thick that they could barely see their own hands, with visibility under five meters. Fortunately, the woman was familiar with the area, so even in the thick fog, she hurried toward her home.

Whether it was good luck or bad, they encountered nothing strange along the way. But that did not mean everything was normal. Cars lay scattered haphazardly across the road, covered in cobwebs. Calling out her children's names, the woman entered the house. At the same time, Tamamo-no-Mae gently tugged on Shizuku's sleeve.

"Lady Shizuku..."

Shizuku turned around and saw Tamamo-no-Mae with one finger in her mouth, looking as though she was about to drool. She sighed helplessly.

"Go on. Don't cause any trouble, and come back when I call you."

"Okay!"

Hearing Shizuku's answer, Tamamo-no-Mae nodded excitedly. Her petite body leaped into the air, briefly landing on a streetlamp before vanishing into the fog. Only then did Shizuku enter the woman's home and close the door behind her. When she reached the living room, she found the woman tearfully hugging her two children tightly.

"You're both all right. Thank goodness... thank goodness..."

"Looks like your children are safe and sound."

Shizuku walked into the living
