Chapter Summaries

Fang Zheng introduced Esther, his Contracted Elf who could transform into a sword, to Integra and took her out to enjoy a leisurely day in London. Meanwhile, Integra prepared for the Round Table Conference and ordered HELLSING’s security tightened as it awaited the Knights and pursued a group of dangerous lunatics.

• Fang Zheng introduced Esther to Integra, Walter, and Seras, and Esther transformed into a Silver-white Short Sword to demonstrate her ability.
• Integra agreed to prepare identification for Esther, and Fang Zheng explained that his other Contracted Elf remained asleep.
• Integra approved Fang Zheng’s outing with Esther and provided a car and driver; Seras watched them leave and wondered what her cannon’s weapon spirit might look like.
• Fang Zheng took Esther to Chinatown for breakfast and a day of sightseeing and shopping.

• Integra told the HELLSING meeting that Vampire corpses contained transmitters and that Ghouls had been created and controlled in unusual ways.
• Integra concluded that someone was experimenting to create stronger Vampires and Ghouls and vowed to find those responsible.
• Ghouls breached HELLSING headquarters, and Integra ordered her forces to defend the base and summon Fang Zheng.

Fang Zheng returned to HELL SING headquarters during a Ghoul assault and rescued the defending soldiers from a blond vampire. He slaughtered the Ghouls and confronted the vampire, who challenged him to a fight.

After the attack on HELL SING headquarters, Fang Zheng struggled with the Abyss worsening his battle instincts and awakening more of his Zerg and Dragon Race powers. Walter then told him that Integra wanted him to meet the mercenary reinforcements who had arrived at the headquarters.

• Fang Zheng reflected on the deaths and damage caused by the attack while Integra handled the aftermath.
• Fang Zheng told Esther that the Abyss and the world's atmosphere were changing his personality, especially during combat.
• Fang Zheng realized his Zerg and Dragon Race powers were returning as the Abyss's influence grew.

He headed to Rio de Janeiro for the night and discovered what looked like an attack on a crowd of seemingly unkillable people.
