Let me share some of my honest thoughts.

This novel began because a classmate dragged me into it.

My company went under, and I was planning to rest at home for a month when that classmate asked me to write novels with him.

Then I started drafting the outline and began writing...

Readers who made it to the end probably noticed that I actually changed the outline several times.

The first time was Tang San's Eight Spider Lances.

At first, I thought that since Xiao Lin had a Weapon Soul and wasn't afraid of poison, I wanted him to obtain the Man Faced Demon Spider's External Soul Bone and Soul Skills, such as Spider Sense, along with the Man Faced Demon Spider's speed, strength, and so on.

But clearly, many readers didn't buy it, so I changed it.

Then there was the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well. Actually, I hadn't planned to write the Ice Fire Dragon King at first either.

But because many readers felt that the theoretical discussions were too padded, I simply brought in a big shot for Xiao Lin.

That way, whenever Xiao Lin brought up some theory, I could directly use the Ice Fire Dragon King's words to show that the theory was feasible or partly correct.

That also cut down on the theoretical discussion, so everyone wouldn't feel it was padded.

But it seemed that the dear readers still weren't quite satisfied.

And after adding the Ice Fire Dragon King, I could only speed up the pacing dramatically.

With a Dragon King around, I couldn't exactly keep raising his strength slowly,
