History

Conflict with Northern Zhou

Northern Zhou regarded the rapidly strengthening Great Qin as a threat and devised a plan to abduct the Fourth Princess, Qin Muxue. The plot involved stealing her mother's remains, luring her into the Ancient Battlefield Ruins, and forcing a marriage with a Northern Zhou prince to combine the two imperial bloodlines. 70 72

Lu Wangchuan recovered the remains and an imperial decree exposing the conspiracy, then gave both to Qin Muxue. She escaped through the Jialan Dynasty, while Great Qin and Northern Zhou began fighting within the Ancient Battlefield Ruins. 72 73

Great Qin later located Northern Zhou's surviving royal court. The Emperor Qin and a royal Grand Elder attacked its refuge, nearly annihilating the dynasty; Northern Zhou's Empress, Zhou Qionglin, escaped by using a Blood Explosion Technique. Northern Zhou subsequently ceased to exist as an independent dynasty. 83

War against the Five Powers

Following Northern Zhou's fall, Northern Mang invaded Great Qin. Western Xia, the Southern Barbarians, Wu Chen, and Northern Rong also entered the conflict, seeking territory or responding to rumors that Great Qin possessed the Xi Feng Ancient Tomb's mechanism-array map. 83 86 87

Zhou Qionglin spread the false claim that Great Qin held the map, using it to persuade several Mystic Realm experts to besiege the imperial capital. Great Qin's emperor and Third Imperial Uncle were wounded while attempting to defend the city and its civilians. 87

Qin Wenyu secured Lu Wangchuan's aid by promising five years of Great Qin's resources. Lu arrived at the capital, killed Zhou Qionglin, and defeated the invading Mystic Realm experts, ending the immediate crisis. 87 88

Later Developments

After Lu Wangchuan joined the Heaven One Divine Sect as its First Divine Son, Great Qin continued to honor its agreement and presented the promised resources to him. The imperial family treated him as a major ally rather than a subordinate. 89

Great Qin later faced a Bright Emperor Realm expert sent by the Azure Heaven Holy Domain to investigate a celestial phenomenon. Lu Wangchuan again intervened and protected Qin Wenyu and the imperial family. 123
