Yang Shan joined the struggle for the Wind Spirit King’s tomb, killed Qin Jian, and obtained half of a Ghoul Lord Token. After Version 1.2 began, he traveled to Gama Holy City with Ya Fei, where he brokered an auction deal and recognized the renowned Player Su Yitang.

• Yang Shan killed the Soul Palace Soul Envoy Chi Diao with help from Fa Ma, Nalan Jie, and Mitier Tengshan, earning the Azure Jade Python Flame and a reward from Fa Ma.
• Yang Shan demonstrated his alchemy to Chao Bafang, refined Perfect Bone Sculpting Pills, and became a Tier-4 Alchemist while preparing for the Wind Spirit King’s tomb.
• Yang Shan, Chao Bafang, and Zhu Tianpeng entered the tomb, fought past the Azure Cloud Association, and discovered its members pursuing the inheritance treasure.
• Nalan Yanran and the Pang and Chai Families battled Qin Jian, who escaped with the tomb’s treasure, and Yang Shan rescued Nalan Yanran before joining the pursuit.
• Yang Shan, Chao Bafang, and Zhu Tianpeng caught and killed Qin Jian, and Yang Shan obtained half of a Ghoul Lord Token that pointed toward Extraterrestrial Ghoul Lightning.
• Yang Shan agreed to accompany Ya Fei to Gama Holy City, where he entered the Mittel Family auction and bid on a sword for Jin Shankao.
• Yang Shan bought the Wind Howl Sword for 150,000 Spirit Stones and sold it to Jin Shankao for 500,000 RMB, then recognized Su Yitang after she won the Wind Hunting Azure Wolf Magic Core.

Yang Shan entered the Black-Corner Region, rose through Bloodshed Hall, and gained the Wrathful Thunder Mystic Skill before returning to Gama Holy City. He teamed up with Chao Bafang and Zhu Tianpeng to target the Azure Cloud Association, and the arc ended with them raiding its branch and escaping with a Soul Accumulation Pearl.

• Yang Shan bought the Violet Lightning Ape King core, traveled through a Space Wormhole to the Black-Corner Region, and joined Bloodshed Hall as Cheng E.
• Yang Shan passed his Heart Demon Trial, became a One-Star Dou Ling, and used Azure Jade Python Flame and violet lightning to blast Eight Gates attackers.
• Yang Shan killed Fan Jian despite competing with Su Yitang, then worked with her to kill Fan Chunchun and obtain a parchment piece.
• Yang Shan completed assassination missions, earned Gold Rank, and received the Wrathful Thunder Mystic Skill from Luo Xie.
• Back in Gama Holy City, Yang Shan defeated Nalan Yanran in a wagered duel and received Surging Lightning Silver from Yun Yun.
• Yang Shan attended Ya Fei’s celebration, received the Purple Heart Barrier Breaking Pill Recipe, and arranged an authorized mission against the Azure Cloud Association.
• Yang Shan, Chao Bafang, and Zhu Tianpeng captured Azure Cloud Association patrol members, then defeated and captured Gou Wenyi.
• Yang Shan and his companions raided the branch while its Third Leader was away, took the formation’s Soul Accumulation Pearl, and retreated after the Third Leader learned the stronghold had fallen.

Yang Shan strengthened his company, hunted Fang Sheng for Su Yitang, and reached Jia Nan Academy after escorting Xiao Xun'er through the Black-Corner Region. The Fire Energy Hunting Competition ended with his clash against Liu Qing unresolved, and he and Xiao Xun'er agreed to trade favors for their halves of the Ghoul Lord Token.

• Yang Shan absorbed the Soul Accumulation Pearl’s energy, delivered six captured Dou Lings to Yun Yun, and began supplying his company with Purple Heart Barrier Breaking Pills.
• Yang Shan recruited Su Yitang, helped her kill Fang Sheng, and obtained the final parchment she needed before returning to Black Seal City with Fang Sheng’s head.
• Luo Xie revealed that he served the Soul Palace, gave Yang Shan a Soul Envoy Personal Decree, and urged him to join once he reached Dou Wang.
• Yang Shan found Xiao Xun’er at Rakshasa Gate and escorted her toward Jia Nan Academy, where he learned she held the other half of the Ghoul Lord Token.
• When Fan Ling’s group attacked the students, Yang Shan fought to protect Xiao Xun’er, who returned to help him, and he later killed Red Elder and sold the Burning Spirit Skill for over eight million RMB.
• Yang Shan arrived in Canaan City, asked Ruo Lin to join the Enforcement Team, and accepted Hu Qian’s challenge to earn more Fire Energy Points than Hu Jia in the forest trial.
• Yang Shan defeated teams of Inner Courtyard students, then clashed with Lin Xiuya and Liu Qing while Xiao Xun’er intervened to keep the fights from turning against him.
• Xiao Xun’er apologized for losing the beast flame source, and she and Yang Shan agreed to exchange one request for assistance each in return for their halves of the Ghoul Lord Token.

Yang Shan built his team, hunted Azure Cloud Association targets, and captured Tao Han to obtain the Spirit Marrow Pill formula. He entered the Alchemist Convention, recruited Yao Xi and Tie Yang, and finished first in the opening round of the finals.

• Yang Shan joined Jia Nan Academy’s Enforcement Team, then left with Su Yitang to hunt Fu Dongyun and kill an evolving Scarlet Serpent.
• Yang Shan earned Luo Xie’s trust, trained Su Yitang in attribute diffusion, and advanced to Five Star Dou Ling before Yao Lao guided him to become a Fifth Grade Alchemist.
• Yang Shan and Su Yitang killed eighteen Dou Wang elders in Thousand Speck City, then returned to the Jia Ma Empire as Xiao Xun'er resolved to travel with him.
• Yang Shan reunited with Ya Fei and Nalan Yanran, then led Su Yitang, Chao Bafang, and Zhu Tianpeng in an assault on the Snow Mountain Branch.
• Yang Shan’s team defeated the branch fighters and captured Tao Han, while Yang Shan disguised himself as Cheng E and persuaded Tu Hong to let him take the Dou Wang away.
• Yang Shan handed Tao Han to Yun Yun and received the Spirit Marrow Pill Formula, then prepared for the Alchemist Convention while Xiao Aotian and Wang Tianhao reacted to his prominence.
• Yang Shan passed the convention’s preliminary and semifinal rounds, then recruited Yao Xi and signed her grandfather Tie Yang as a Tier-4 Forger.
• Fa Ma announced Yang Shan as the only Fifth Grade Alchemist, and Yang Shan finished first in the finals’ opening obstacle-course round after overtaking Xiao Aotian, Hao Yunqi, and Yao Xi.
