• Yang Shan entered the Ten Thousand Treasures Emperor Trove, defeated a Treasure-Storing Puppet, and used its map to seek out treasures while avoiding powerful Dou Zun.
• Yang Shan stole the Heavenly Infiltrating Grape Fruit from Ice River Venerable, and Xiao Xun’er protected him from Xiao Kuang before joining forces with him.
• Yang Shan and Xiao Xun’er collected map crystals and treasures, outmaneuvered Xiao Kuang and Huo Ran, and defeated Lei Che and other pursuers to gain more resources.

After defeating its leaders, he faced the Nine Netherworld Python Clan and left the conflict with its captives released and a reward promised by Mystic Wrath Thunder Saint.

• Gu Yuan gave Yang Shan the Thunder Flame Immortal Jade and escorted him toward the Southern Domain, where Yang Shan reunited with Zi Yan and obtained Yue Mei’s matured Blood Gall Scale Grass.
• Yang Shan defeated Gu Yuan in the Dou Zun Heart Demon Trial, became the first Player to reach Dou Zun, and received Gu Yuan’s approval of his relationship with Xiao Xun'er.
• Zhu Tian reforged Yang Shan’s Yama into the Quasi-Saint Weapon Yan Luo, while Yang Shan joined Wind and Thunder Pavilion’s battle against Yellow Spring Pavilion and helped drive off its forces.
• Yang Shan gave Feng Qing’er the Demon Phoenix Blood Marrow Pearl, then led a disguised force into Yellow Spring Pavilion and killed Yellow Spring Venerable with Yan Luo.

Yang Shan claimed the Northern Falling Seven Star Thunder, strengthened his position in the Wind and Thunder Pavilion, and navigated Soul Hall’s schemes while helping Yue Mei awaken. After the Version 3.2 preview revealed the Ancient Eight Clans’ gathering and Hun Xian’s pursuit of Yao Chen, Yang Shan began preparing for his next confrontation with Soul Hall.

• Lei Zhanghao named Yang Shan the Wind and Thunder Pavilion’s Young Pavilion Master, and Mang Tianchi made Lei Che apologize for threatening him.
• Yang Shan helped secure Feng Qing’er’s return to the pavilion, received Lei Zhanghao’s inheritance, and later defeated Lei Che in a duel while Feng Qing’er and Mang Tianchi watched.
• Yang Shan refined the Northern Falling Seven Star Thunder at Starfall Cliff, bound Xiao Kuang with its lightning chains, and forced him to surrender a Thunder Spirit Crystal before leaving.

The stretch ended with Yang Shan defeating Huo Zhi in Burning Flame Valley and explaining how he had overcome her Red Lotus Karma Fire.

• Yang Shan and Su Yitang defeated the Thousand Vine Blood Tiger, gathered Enlightenment Grass, and followed a clue to the Bodhi Enlightenment Heart Grass guarded by a beast horde.
• Yang Shan and Su Yitang stole the Bodhi Enlightenment Heart Grass during the prodigies’ battle with the guardian, then escaped as the beast attacked Xiao Li.
